All relevant departments of our company contribute to this board by giving their opinions and the support and instructions of the General Manager, the senior manager of the company are applied.


The sustainability understanding of our company; It is supported by our environmental activities such as efficient use of natural resources and energy, continuous monitoring of emissions, effective management of waste, development of R&D projects related to environmentally friendly products and technology development. Our company's environmental responsibility approach is based on the principle of making voluntary initiatives and increasing environmental investments while constantly meeting legal requirements.


Environmental Management in our company is carried out within the Integrated Management System, which includes ISO 9001 Quality Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. Sustainable Chemical Management targets, which enable ZDHC to move towards zero hazardous waste, constantly improve and support all chemical management systems in the supply chain.


Waste Management: Optima Kimya uses its own treatment facility and the treatment service of the Organized Industrial Zone in which it is located to remove waste from production.


Development of products that comply with Oeko-Tex 100 standards in textile: In order to ensure the ecological compatibility of textile products, Optima Kimya products do not use or exceed limited raw materials in accordance with Eco-Tex standards that restrict the product substances on them.


Optima chemical chemicals are manufactured in accordance with bluesign®, GOTS 5.0 (Global Organic Textile Standard) and Oeko-tex 100 standards and do not include chemicals in the priority chemical groups listed above the limits specified in ZDHC MRSL.


Along with the legislation affecting the textile and clothing supply chain, they fully comply with the restricted chemical lists (RSL) of competent authorities and brands. They do not contain the Very Important Substances (SVHC) of REACH regulation and restricted azo dyes, Alkylphenol and ethoxylates (AP / APEOs), Chlorinated aromatic compounds (AOX) and formaldehyde above acceptable limits.


With its GreenScreen Textile Chemicals and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, Optima Kimya continues to be included in the ZDHC Gateway Chemical Compatibility Pyramid as level 1 and level 3.
